An
Education in Human Values
In
choosing the curriculum for the students the
Academy has taken into consideration the
academic challenges writ large on the
horizons of the 21st Century. The Education
in Human Values is primarily there to bring
out the very best in a child and to enable
her personality to evolve towards Self-

human excellence calls for excellence in
each of the five domains or aspects of human
personality which are are namely: Physical,
Intellectual, Emotional, Psychic, and

aspects of a child’s life and besides
traditional subjects like History,
Geography, Science and Literature provisions
have been made for drawing, painting,

cultural programs form an integral part of
the school time table with co-curricular
activities being performed in the open-air
surroundings under the green shady trees.

and concentration thereby stimulating the
creative potential latent within each child.

music, dance, art, dramatic and other
performing arts, so that their energies can
be channelized through such freedom of

comprehensive evaluation tests are conducted
every week in a pre-assigned subject as per
a well laid-out schedule. Weekly assessments
are added to the final report of every
student.

two examinations in an academic year –
bi–annual and annual examinations. For
evaluation in the academic year, the

No formal examinations are
held. A continuous evaluation of a child is
done and the record is maintained. Promotion
is granted to them on the basis of Weekly

the policy of detention, wastage and

basis of the whole year's performance in

general criterion for promotion to the next

40% marks in all the subjects.
No student will be promoted to the next
class if he/she fails to secure at least 40%
marks in all the subjects In the subjects
where there is a practical examination, 40%
