Administrative Block
Dehra Dun Hills Academy believes in
providing maximum exposure to its students
to help them achieve the right direction
through its infrastructure and facilities.
The Administrative block is the backbone of
the school. A spacious lobby for parents and
visitors is an important part of the
administrative block.
Academic Block
Named after the founding president Ch. Puran
Singh, the magnificent academic building
houses all classes. Split level planning
ensures ample light and proper ventilation
to enhance the comfort level. In addition to
classrooms, the building also has libraries,
computer laboratory, science laboratories,
etc. A separate play area is also restricted
for the exclusive use of the small children.
THE SOCIETY
AND BASIC STRUCTURE
The Dehra Dun Hills Academy is formed by
a deed registered under the Indian Societies
Registration Act of 1860. The Society known
as Ch. Nain Singh Education Society is an
NGO administered by a distinguished
Governing Council. The school building and
the lands appurtenant thereto have been
placed at the disposal of the Academy by Ch.
Puran Singh, the Founder.
The Academy
has two categories of students on its
rolls-the Day Scholars and Boarders. Though
a better interaction is between the teacher
and taught is mainly possible by having the
students in the Boarding House, yet the day
system is indispensable for the children
living in the vicinity of the Academy. |
